US President Barack Obama on Friday paid homage to a black pastor killed during a seemingly racially motived mass shooting in a Charleston church.
Before a crowd of thousands, Obama praised Clementa Pinckney's "love, faith and purity," a week after a gunman killed him and eight other African Americans at a bible study.
