Over 12,600 migrants arrive in Slovenia in 24 hours

More than 12,600 migrants arrived in Slovenia over a 24-hour period, police said, a record that surpasses even that in Hungary at the height of the crisis in September.
Thursday at 6:00 am (0400 GMT) a total of 34,131 migrants had entered Slovenia since Saturday, when the influx began, compared to 21,455 the previous day, an increase of 12,676.
On September 23, Hungary, which has since closed its borders, counted a record 10,046 arrivals in one day.
