PM: Spanish policeman dead in Kabul attack

A Spanish policeman died Friday in a massive Taliban attack on Kabul's diplomatic quarter near Madrid's embassy, Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said.
"A policeman died in the attack... in Kabul," he said at an electoral meeting in the southeastern city of Alicante, sending "our love for him and all his colleagues." An interior ministry spokesman confirmed that the policeman was Spanish.
