Turkey saw 'revolting scenes of caprice, revenge': Germany

Germany on Monday criticised "revolting scenes of caprice and revenge" seen in Turkey after its failed coup and urged a proportionate response.
"In the first hours after the failed coup we witnessed revolting scenes of caprice and revenge against soldiers on the streets," said government spokesman Steffen Seibert. "That cannot be accepted."
