UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon warned Thursday that recent deadly violence in the Central African Republic was aimed at destabilizing the country and imperil the political process.
"It is clear that the violence occurring recently in Bangui seeks to destabilize the country and imperil the transition process," Ban told a high-level meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
