US judge sets Cosby trial for June 5

Disgraced US megastar Bill Cosby will go on trial June 5, 2017, accused of sexually assaulting a woman at his Philadelphia home more than 12 years ago, a judge said Tuesday.
The pioneering black comedian faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted of assaulting Andrea Constand, to whom he allegedly fed pills and wine. Judge Steven O'Neill said the trial could begin earlier if schedules permit.
