The Dow finished above 19,000 for the first time Tuesday, a landmark in a post-election stock rally propelled by expectations of pro-growth policies from Washington. At the closing bell, the Dow was up 0.4 percent to 19,024.25. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq joined the Dow in closing at a record for the second day in a row. |
