Pfizer reported lower third-quarter earnings Tuesday due in part to the hit from lost patent exclusivity on some key drugs.
Net profit for the pharmaceutical giant was $1.3 billion, down 38 percent from the year-ago period. Revenues were $13.0 billion, up eight percent.
