A drop in mercury levels is expected on Wednesday and Thursday, becoming around their seasonal average and creating normal summer conditions in much parts of the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) .
Temperatures will hit a high of 34 degrees Celsius in Amman and 39 in Aqaba, but they will cool down at night reaching 22 degrees and dropping to 28 respectively, the JMD said.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail on Friday with high clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, the JMD added.
