Top models come together

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Alexander McQueen Cannes - Arabstoday Cannes Film Festival has so far been a week of fashion heaven, with amazing styles and looks dominating red carpets and premieres. However, the biggest style highlight took place on Thursday when Cannes’ top stars came together to support the Cinema Against AIDS Gala. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the glitzy and glamorous amfAR gala featured memorable moments including a performance of the classic Bond hit Goldfinger by Shirley Bassey, which raised over 20 million euros for AIDS research. Former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, Carine Roitfeld, curated a show entitled The Ultimate Gold Collection, honouring late British-American actress Elizabeth Taylor. The fabulous fashion show saw some of the world’s best models, including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Karolina Kurkova and Alessandra Ambrosio, strut their stuff on one runway to showcase renowned designers like Chanel, Prada and Alexander McQueen. And of course, what is a Cannes\' festival without the stars? With top names like Roberto Cavalli, Sharon Stone, Kylie Minogue, Jessica Chastain and many more in attendance to support the cause, it was definitely a night to remember. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley arrived in an ivory strapless dress by Dior, accessorising her outfit with Christian Louboutin white heels. Jessica Chastain looks gorgeous in a red asymmetric gown by Saint Laurent. Kylie Minogue was dressed by Roberto Cavalli in a white plunging gown with thigh-high slit and gold embroidered embellishment. Alessandra Ambrosio wows in a Zuhair Murad nude chiffon full-length gown with plunging neckline and beaded detailing. Olivia Palermo, who was also dressed by Roberto Cavalli, poses in a leopard-print asymmetric gown with thigh-high slit. Heidi Klum wears a strapless sheer and gold dress by Marchesa. Irina Shayk\'s hot pink dress featured all-over sequin embellishment.
