Idillio, a new collection of Salvatore Ferragamo Timepieces, is an expression of the creativity and elegance that have always defined the Florentine maison’s style. With its extensive range, it offers a poetical vision of ‘‘the passing of time’’. Idillio is a magnificent watch-gem reminiscent of a night sky aglow with stars, its dial studded as it is with precious stones evoking the Milky Way. A real conversation-piece. It comes in three uniquely alluring models: the first, with a 34 mm stainless steel case and a full pavé of blue sapphires crossed by a luminous trail of diamonds; the second, with an IP gold case setting of rubies and diamonds; and the third, with a stainless steel case and a pavé of diamonds spangled with coloured gemstones (blue and yellow sapphires, rubies, purple sapphires and tsavorites). As a tribute to Salvatore Ferragamo’s passion for precious stones, vibrant colours and prestige leathers, Idillio has a genuine alligator strap, nuanced to match the dial, and diamonds set in the bezel. And the high precision automatic Swiss movement can be admired through the sapphire glass case back. Similar aesthetically, and with regards to the movement, the automatic model is just as glamorous with its simple white dial and is ultra-feminine too. Here as well, the dial has a constellation of diamonds, has Roman numerals at the positions of 12 and 6 o’clock, while the elegant wrist strap is crocodile-print patent leather in hallmark Ferragamo red. This exclusive creation comes in a limited edition of just  one hundred numbered watches. Equally refined is the quartz version, differentiated by its black or silver guilloché dial. graced by a diamond at the position of 9 o’clock. It also comes with a case in warm tones of gold and in a 25 mm mini version. It has a white, black or purple crocodile-print strap or a two-tone stainless steel bracelet. The men’s model, on the other hand, is characterised by a sports-chic mood. It’s a classic three-counter chronograph with a large size stainless steel or steel-IP gold case, a guilloché dial and a tachometric scale on the flange. The watch comes with a metal bracelet or a soft leather strap in a choice of fashionable colours. The maison’s outstanding care for detail can also be seen in the black onyx cabochons on the crown and lugs, the double “gancino” shaped seconds hand counterweight, and the sapphire crystal. common to all the models in this new line.
