Italian restaurant Mele e Pere in London\'s Soho got mixed reviews from the critics this weekend, with Jay Rayner and Giles Coren finding its food and ambience hit and miss. Writing for the Times, Coren finds that Mele e Pere - meaning apples and pears - serves good seasonal Italian food but is a really bum place to sit and spend time.
