Green flag raised at 3 Abu Dhabi parks

Three parks in the city have received an international award for their adherence to environmental standards.
The parks in Delma, Khalifa City and Al Rahba were given the Green Flag Award for the sustainable practices used in their management, reported Al Ittihad, the sister newspaper of The National.
Abu Dhabi Municipality said the award was a result of its improvements in health and safety practices and energy efficiency.
The authority aims to expand green areas to provide more options for entertainment and recreation for residents.
