Water scarcity conference to kick off Sunday in Cairo

Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazy will open Sunday an EU conference on water scarcity challenges and opportunities, to be held in Alexandria on Sept 14-15.
The minister asserted that the conference would be an opportunity for discussing and exchanging views about the water problems in Egypt.
He added that the event would tackle enhancing institutional development and ways to make it stronger, as well as discussing new technologies and public policy issues related to water.
