Bahraini minister meets Arab Renewable Energy Authority's delegation

Minister of Energy Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza met a delegation from the Jordan-based Arab Authority for Renewable Energy on the side-lines of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2015 in the UAE capital.
The Authority's Secretary-General Dr. Saleh Rashidat and Dr. Mirza reviewed the prospects of enhancing cooperation between the two sides, the most important being the possibility of Bahrain hosting key events of the Authority and collaborating in the fields of renewable energy.
The possibility of Bahrain taking part in specialised workshops hosted by the authority specialised in the field of electricity and water was also discussed.
New legislation governing the power and water sector in Jordan and possibly implementing the same in Bahrain was discussed as well.
Dr. Mirza and Dr. Rashidat spoke about hosting the next forum of the Authority, ‘Third Congress of the Arab Renewable Energy’ in Bahrain later this year.
