President Abdel Fattah El Sisi
Cairo - MENA

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will embark on his first official visit to UAE on January 18-19 that comes within the context of deeply-rooted and close ties binding the two countries in all fields.
During the visit, Sisi will take part the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) 2015.
Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Alaa Youssef said President Sisi's visit to UAE will provide an opportunity for expressing his appreciation and gratitude to the UAE and its leader Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nuhayyan on the stances in support of Egypt and its people in the wake of June 30.
He said relations between the two countries are very distinguished and well established as the UAE and its leadership have a special place among Egyptians, noting that the Egyptian community in UAE has much contributed to the comprehensive development of the country which is drawing much admiration worldwide.
The spokesman also said the Egyptian people can never forget the historic stances of late UAE leader Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nuhayyan and his wisdom and belief of the necessity of bolstering Arab solidarity and garnering up efforts of the Arab and Islamic nations.
During his stay in UAE, Sisi will take part in the World Future Summit 2015, that is held as part of Abu Dhabi Week of Sustainability, at an invitation from Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nuhayyan, added the spokesman.
President Sisi shared viewpoints with the UAE fellows on the importance of energy as a basic element for all development activities and that the current phase needs a variety of energy sources, including the renewable energy sources such as the solar and wind energies.
Sisi will assert during that summit that Egypt is deeply interested in the issue of energy and the need for working out mechanisms for the best ever planning about the future of energy.
The World Future Energy Summit (WFES) is the Middle East’s largest gathering on future energy and one that drives actionable solutions to the world’s energy challenges. Now in its eighth edition, WFES 2015 will attract upwards of 30,000 delegates from 170 different countries, representing expertise from industry, technology, finance and government. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, WFES will catalyze partnerships through the Project and Finance Village, TechTalk, and the Sustainability Business Connect Program, where leading companies representing the entire energy spectrum – from hyrocarbons to renewables – will gather to showcase innovations and share best practices.
