Turkey rejects annulment of nuke power plant agreement law

The Cons-titutional Court rejected a demand on annulment of the law on ratification of agreement that was signed by Turkey and Russia on establishment of a nuclear power plant in Akkuyu town of the southern province of Mersin. The court rejected the demand by the main opposition Republican People\'s Party (CHP) on annulment of the first article of the law on ratification of the agreement between Turkish and Russian governments to construct and operate a nuclear power plant in Akkuyu.
