Vacuum trucks were seen on streets in Alexandria as heavy rains continued to pour over the coastal governorate as of Wednesday evening.
Acting Governor Soad el Kholi made a field tour to oversee pumping rain water off streets.
The bad weather comes shortly before the start of another gale in the governorate known by heavy rains and strong winds.
Cars were seen piled up on Kornich road due to the rainfall.
Late in October, bad weather conditions caused the flooding of streets and buildings and the death of five people.
