SeaWorld\'s last false killer whale dies

The last false killer whale at SeaWorld in Orlando, Fla., has died, officials said. The whale, named Jozu, passed away late Monday afternoon, Central Florida News 13, Orlando, reported. The cause of her death is not yet known, but Jozu, who was born at SeaWorld in 1994, suffered from chronic health problems, SeaWorld officials told News 13. False killer whales are members of the toothed whale family Delphinidae and closely resemble their relatives, killer whales, but are more slender and mostly black in color, among other differences. False killer whales can live up to 62 years old and grow to up between 15 and 17 feet long and weigh 2,600 to 4,800 pounds. They are native to all tropical, subtropical and warm temperate seas.
