Egypt, China look for enhancing media cooperation

Head of the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU) 's specialized TV channels Hussein Zein received Friday a visiting Chinese delegation from CCTV channel for talks on boosting bilateral cooperation in the media field.

The two sides discussed new ideas and visions to promote cooperation between CCTV and ERTU's specialized TV channels in the field of TV programs.

For his part, Zein stressed the depth of relations between Egypt and China, welcoming media exchanges between the two sides to enrich information-bearing materials in CCTV and ERTU channels.

The Chinese delegation, during the meeting, underlined the importance of the specailized TV channels sector that groups a large number of channels.

The visiting delegation presented a commemorative gift to Zein, who in return gave them the specialized channels shield award.
