Journalist awaits verdict over Sinai report

Photojournalist Mohammed Sabry is waiting to hear his verdict for allegedly filming military positions in Egypt’s border city Rafah. A military trial in Ismailia will decide whether Sabry is guilty of filming security forces and vehicles close to the Kerem Shalom crossing, while reporting on the death of 16 Egyptian soldiers in Rafah last September. The trial concludes on Sunday.
