A group named Team Kuwait Hackers hijacked the website of Lebanon’s House of Representatives on Saturday, publishing an image of Sheikh Ahmed el-Aseer, Imam of Belal Bin Rabah Mosque and listing jihadist songs. In a statement left on the website, the group said: “God help Lebanon’s Sunnis who have suffered from persecution and marginalisation from the party that claims to be defending Islam and Muslims. The persecution has transcended Sunni people in Lebanon to extend to Syria." The hackers urged the Lebanese government to end its support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
