Arab League to meet on halting satellite channels smearing arab league member states

The Arab League hosts a meeting on Sunday on technical and legal measures to halt the broadcast of ARABSAT satellite channels which tarnish image, interfere in internal affairs, incite sedition or fuel terror in any Arab League member state, an AL statement said on Thursday.
The meeting comprises an action team formed to set these measures along with representatives from the Arab Satellite Communications Organization (ARABSAT) – which is a leading communications satellite operator in the Arab World - in line with the Arab information ministers' decision in this respect during their 46th session.
