4.3% increase in 2011 university graduates

As many 343,005 Egyptian students graduated from private and public universities in 2011, marking a 4.3 percent rise from the previous year. A study by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said 322,008 students graduated from government universities and 10,007 from private universities. From Al-Azhar University, 43,004 students graduated in 2011, the CAPMAS said.
