American delegation visits Hashemite University

Advisor for the President of the Hashemite University (HU) for International Affairs and Relations, Marwan Obeidat, on Wednesday discussed with an American delegation means of boosting bilateral academic and cultural cooperation. Talks during the meeting also dealt with the scheduled visit of a delegation from HU to a number of US universities to enhance bilateral cooperation, as well as the possibility of giving scholarships in certain specialties needed by the university. The delegates expressed willingness to supply the Resource Center for American Studies at the university with the needed resources such as books, references, teaching aids with the beginning of the next academic year.
