UAE University to host international conference

The Departments of Philosophy, Physics and Islamic Studies at the UAE University will host an international conference titled \'The Concept of Time in Science, Philosophy and Theology\' in February. The event will be flagged-off with an opening ceremony held at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi while the conference will take place in Al Ain. The organisers said they expect the exchange of knowledge to help in understanding the concept of time and its impact on various branches of science, and philosophy and religions of the world. The conference will also explore the meaning of time in other spheres such as psychology, linguistics, and business and information technology. Key thinkers will be invited to present their knowledge and pioneering approaches to time, the organisers said.
