The wife of a Canadian lawmaker faces charges she endangered a flight by directing threats against her husband and the plane, police say. Maygan Sensenberger, 23, wife of Manitoba Sen. Rod Zimmer, 69, appeared in a Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, court Friday in connection with the Thursday night incident, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. Saskatoon police said the couple allegedly got into a verbal disagreement that escalated into a threat to take down the plane, prompting the flight crew to contact authorities on the ground about 8 p.m. CST. No one was injured, police said. Sensenberger was to remain in jail through the weekend pending a court appearance Monday, which coincidentally is the couple\'s first wedding anniversary, the CBC said. Zimmer, a businessman and philanthropist who lives in Winnipeg, has been a Liberal senator since 2005.
