In a statement to KUNA on Saturday, President of the Women's Committee in the Kuwaiti Society of Engineers (KSE) Bashayer Al-Awad said that the summit will discuss challenges, problems and issues related to women around the world and ways of addressing them.
The summit, she added, is co-organized by an international committee for women, affiliate to World Federation of Engineering Organizations, and the Kuwaiti Society of Engineers in collaboration with Ministry of State for Youth Affairs, Women's Research and Studies Center and Voluntary Action Center.
The event will focus on raising women's awareness about their significant role in society and giving them top posts to help them contribute to pushing ahead the wheel of production and developing their countries, she noted.
"This is the time of both female and male youngsters who will materialize the vision of His Highness the Amir, who always says that they are the country's pillar and future," she said, thanking His Highness the Amir for supporting women.
The gathering also will discuss how to develop talents and tackle issues related to families as well as responsibility toward the homeland, she made clear.
