Abbasi:Bushehr power plant to operate with 75 PC of its capacity

Presidential Advisor and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Fereydoon Abbasi said on Saturday that Bushehr nuclear power plant with a 320 megawatt capacity was connected to nationwide gird for 15 hours Wednesday night. Abbasi made the remark on the sidelines of the special ceremony held to unveil special softwares used during eight years of Sacred Defense. Bushehr nuclear power plant will operate with 75 percent of its capacity by mid- November this year, he said. Bushehr Nuclear power plant will generate 420 megawatts of electricity when operating at full swing, he said. Transferring and installation of centrifuges to Fordo site is underway based on its timetable, Abbasi said.
