Centergate Technologies\' president resigns

Zhang Xuan has resigned as president of Centergate Technologies (000931.SZ) for personal reasons, according to the company early Thursday. According to a written statement by the Beijing-based company, which is known as Zhongguancun in Chinese, Zhang submitted his resignation letter Wednesday evening to the board, which took effect immediately. The company\'s chairman Zhou Ning will preside over \"comprehensive company work,\" while vice president Hou Zhanjun will take charge of operations, the statement said. Shares of the company closed up 1.24 percent on Thursday at 5.71 yuan (0.9 U.S. dollars). Located in Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, Beijing Centergate Technologies Holding Co. Ltd. constructs residential and office buildings. The company also manufactures biopharmaceuticals and provides telecommunication services through its subsidiaries.
