Gitex Shopper 2014
Abu Dhabi - WAM

Thousands of special offers, promotions, competitions and unbeatable deals on the latest consumer electronic products are adding to the general excitement at Gitex Shopper 2014, as the show reaches its final weekend climax.
Bargains can be had on virtually everything, from smartphones, tablets and laptops, to the latest curved UHD TVs, digital cameras, 3D printers, gaming consoles, home appliances and even the quirkiest of karaoke kits.
Coinciding with the Eid holiday weekend, the show — on its last day today — at the Dubai World Trade Centre and will run until midnight. Power retailers including Al Falak, E-City, E-Max, Jacky's Electronics, Jumbo, Plug Ins, Sharaf DG and 050Telecom are bundling products and prizes with unbeatable prices that will delight shoppers at every turn.
These include free return air tickets to one of 25 destinations when you buy any product above Dh1,899 from Emax; deals from Samsung on curved 78-inch UHD TVs for Dh39,999 and get a Dh10,000 gift voucher free plus the chance to win an Xbox One; and an unbeatable offer from Sharaf DG — a free BMW 3-Series worth Dh130,000 when you buy a Dh99,990 LG OLED TV.
Trixie LohMirmand, senior vice-president of the DWTC, organiser of Gitex Shopper, said: "Deals this year are sensational and have been grabbing headlines all week. Visitors coming down to the last day of the show are likely to scoop even more bargains than we can report on now; this is truly an event not to be missed.”
Making it down to the show on the last day will also give visitors the chance to win a limited edition Honda Accord car, university scholarships, tickets to Spain to watch FC Barcelona live, DSLR cameras, tablets, smart phones and more.
Gitex Shopper opens today at 11am. Regular-entry tickets are Dh30 and are available at the venue and from selected Emarat outlets. Entry is free for children below the age of five.
