In another stunning doodle, the main page of the giant search engine, Google, on Wednesday honoured the pioneer of electronic music Robert Moog. The doodle, which shows a modern electronics synthesiser and appeared on Google main page world-wide, enables \"users to record their own synthesised music and then share their songs via G+ or a unique URL,\" Google said in a statement to Gulf News. Moog, who was born in New York on May 23, 1934, is credited with creating the first practical synthesiser, the Moog Synthesiser, as well as other electronic equipment related to production, performance and recording. His synthesisers were significant in the development of popular music in the Sixties. The inventor, who studied electrical engineering, died of brain cancer on August 21, 2005 in Asheville, North Carolina. Moog\'s doodle comes few days after another doodle to honour Omar Al Khayyam, the great poet, philosopher, astronomer and mathematician.
