A second alleged member of a hacking group has been arrested on charges of breaching accounts at SonyPictures.com and stealing passwords, U.S. officials say. The FBI said it arrested Raynaldo Rivera, 20, an alleged member of the hacking group LulzSec, Tuesday when he surrendered to authorities six days after a federal grand jury issued an indictment, ZDNet reported Wednesday. Rivera, from Tempe, Ariz., is charged with conspiracy and unauthorized impairment of a protected computer. Rivera allegedly worked with Cody Kretsinger, who pleaded guilty to hacking charges in April after being arrested last year. Authorities began searching for the two after LulzSec posted statements online in June 2011 saying it had broken into SonyPictures.com and stolen over a million user accounts on the PlayStation network. The security breach forced Sony to close the network in both the United States and Europe for roughly six weeks. Rivera, in custody in Phoenix, could face up to 15 years in prison if found guilty of the charges.
