
Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) says it has completed the coverage of the highest tower in the Eastern Province — Suwaiket Tower in Alkhobar — by FTTH technology, including the installation of 344 ports to provide high speed Internet service and coverage for more than 300 housing units.
The project included the installation of 43 ODB’s to ensure service connectivity for 314 apartments in Suwaiket tower, besides linking two Indoor mobile GSM with the FTTH network to enhance Mobile data capacity for all tower’s floors.
The tower’s height is 185 meters and it is situated in an intersection connecting Dammam, Alkhobar and Dhahran, with easy access to important areas such as shopping malls, hospitals, schools and banks.
Mobily claims to provide FTTH service utilizing the most advanced ground networks that supply unprecedented Internet speed reaching 200 Mbps with stability in connectivity performance, which ensures excellent service quality in all Internet aspects, including the easy and quick access to individual and group games.
Mobily’s subscribers can obtain this offer through the company's main branches and outlets spread around the Kingdom or from the authorized distributors, as well as the direct sales of FTTH services team or telesales team.
