CBB Sukuk Al-Salam securities over subscribed

The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that the monthly issue of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities for the BD 18 million issue, which carries a maturity of 91 days, has been oversubscribed by 272%. The expected return on the issue, which begins on 28 September 2011 and matures on 28 December 2011, is 0.70%. The securities are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This is issue No. 125 of Sukuk Al-Salam securities.
