Doha - Arabstoday
Commercialbank’s Enterprise Banking Division recently hosted a presentation for small and medium enterprise (SME) customers on the benefits of its Business Technology Solutions, powered by Meeza, a Qatar Foundation joint venture. The event, held at the Doha Golf Club was “well attended” with the participation of business owners and key personnel from some 52 SMEs. Commercialbank’s technology solutions for its customers are a first-of-its-kind offering, from a bank in the region, providing a full portfolio of secure, cloud applications, including HR and payroll, e-mail, Sharepoint and web hosting. These solutions are cost-effective, time efficient and secure, as data is stored locally in Qatar, allowing SMEs to optimise resources, increase efficiency and dedicate more time to growing their business. Commercialbank head (Enterprise Banking) Kenneth Clark said, “We offer comprehensive business packages to SMEs, including technology solutions that enhance productivity and increase cost and time effectiveness. Commercialbank has seen increasing enrolments for our business technology solutions. As partners, we are committed to provide value added products and services for the growth and success of our SME customers. In Qatar, SME and entrepreneurship are widely recognised as key drivers of employment and economic growth. Hence, boosting the SME sector is crucial for future economies, as well as towards building long term sustainable economies in the GCC region. “We at Commercialbank are proud to be part of this progress by providing high quality technical services, national and regional experience and financial expertise to our valued customers. When a business owner of an SME describes business challenges faced, we can already sense the kind of business technology, advisory and financial services that they will need in the future and believe that Information Technology is an important lever to enhance competencies in the fast growing financial services space, in order to better serve our stakeholders.” Meeza chief marketing officer Jean-Philippe Sohier said, “Our developing partnership with Commercialbank has proven to be a great success in reaching the local market. The solution we are offering adds value to the growth of any organisation, and by that we are proud to have provided this service along with many others. At the event, we showcased all the benefits companies can gain by attaining cloud services. Our goal is to meet market demands and attend to their needs because our customers are important to us.” Commercialbank’s Business Technology Solutions can be accessed anytime, anywhere in the world, and the data is held locally in a secure and safe environment. The solutions are easily adaptable for the needs of both new and growing organisations.
