
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Distribution said Monday it would decrease diesel prices by 40 fils per liter in gas stations in northern emirates as of tomorrow.
Diesel prices will be sold by 3.05 dirhams in the Emirates of Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Ras Al-Khaimah and Fujairah, said Khaled Hadi, ADNOC Distribution's Deputy head of Marketing and Government Communications.
A liter of diesel was sold by 3.45 dirhams. A dirham equals USE 0.272.
Hadi said in a statement the reduction of diesel prices was in line with changes of oil prices globally, a move that would boost competitiveness of business sector in northern areas.
