
Crude oil for October delivery held above $106 per barrel Monday morning. Crude eased back slightly, giving up 18 cents to $106.24 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Reformulated blendstock gasoline lost .8 cents to settle at $2.8526 per gallon. Home heating oil lost 1.86 cents to reach $3.0804 per gallon. Natural gas added 3.7 cents to $3.52 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline was $3.54, unchanged from Sunday, the AAA Fuel Gauge report said.
