Crude oil pauses at $106

Crude oil prices held steady near $106 per barrel Wednesday morning in New York. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude oil gained a penny to $106.01 per barrel. Reformulated blendstock gasoline lost 3.14 cents to $3.1029 per gallon. Home heating oil shed 0.53 cents to reach $3.0416 per gallon. Natural gas gave up 2.5 cents to $3.652 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline was $3.657, up from Tuesday\'s $3.635, the AAA Fuel Gauge report said.
