
Under the Patronage of HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada , the 8th Doha International Oil and Gas Exhibition (8th DIOGE) will be held in Doha, on 7th 10th October 2013 . Public Relations Manager at Qatar Petroleum Abdulrahman Al-Obaidli told a press conference here on Tuesday that the exhibition, to open at the Doha Exhibition Centre, will be held on a 10,000 square meter space. He pointed to the willingness of Qatar Petroleum to provide absolute support for (8th DIOGE), as the host and a platinum sponsor in cooperation with Qatar Expo, the organizer of the exhibition. Al-Obaidli stated that the exhibition will be attended by some 20 countries, including Canada, France, Germany, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, US, Singapore, Switzerland and Turkey. The number of visitors is expected to reach 10 thousand visitors from local , regional and international oil and gas companies. For his part, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Qatar Expo, Hadi Ali said that the (8th DIOGE) will be a great platform to strengthen relations among the most influential players in the oil and gas sectors, pointing out that about 90% of the available exhibition space was already booked.
