
The production of gas in the Russian Federation over seven months of the current year decreased against the similar period of the previous year by 0.3% to 381.737 billion cubic meters, the fuel and energy complex’s central dispatch service reported. Gazprom’s production over the period went down by 3.5% to 271.721 billion cubic meters. The share of oil and independent producers in gas production was almost 29 percent. Oil companies produced over the seven months of the current year 41.893 billion cubic meters. In July, Gazprom’s gas production was 31.9 billion cubic meters, where the IFRS consolidated production was 32.176 billion cubic meters. A major independent gas producer, NOVATEK, produced 30.9 billion cubic meters. In July, its production was four billion cubic meters, and the IFRS consolidated production made 4.770 billion cubic meters. Rosneft produced in July 3.713 billion cubic meters /2.606 billion cubic meters in Russian consolidation/, LUKOIL - 1.468 billion cubic meters, and Surgutneftegaz - one billion cubic meters.
