
Some 129 out of a total of 520 working papers are to be considered during an oil and gas exhibition and conference due here on Monday under the aegis of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the organizing committee head said. The exhibition, which lasts until October 10, will attract over 104 representatives from 37 countries, in addition to 1,300 international experts, the chairperson of the organizing technical committee of the exhibition and deputy chairperson of Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC), Hosniya Hashem, told KUNA. Seventeen lectures bearing on oil and gas discoveries and production, refining and petrochemical industry are to be delivered by international experts during the event, she said. She appreciated HH the Prime Minister\'s sponsorship and support for the exhibition and conference, which will be held on a biennial basis. She boasted that the event would be a good opportunity for the participants to have direct contact with world experts and to tap new technology used in oil and gas industry.
