
Kuwait\'s crude oil exports to China grew 13.2 percent in June from a year earlier to 622,000 tons, equivalent to around 152, 000 barrels per day (bpd), latest government data showed. Kuwaiti share of Chinese crude oil imports was 2.8 percent last month, compared to 2.5 percent the year before, according to the General Administration of Customs. In the first half of this year, Kuwait\'s shipments to the world\'s second-biggest energy consumer reached 173,000 bpd. China\'s overall imports of crude oil in June rose 2.1 percent from a year earlier to 5.42 million bpd. Saudi Arabia remained China\'s top supplier, although its shipments plunged 20.7 percent to 953,000 bpd, followed by Angola with 796,000 bpd, down 13.5 percent. Russia became third, with imports from the country surging 34.2 percent to 650,000 bpd.
