
The price of Kuwaiti crude oil dropped USD 0.78 settling at USD 106.26 per barrel on Wednesday compared to USD 107.04 pb on Tuesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation in a statement on Thursday. Oil prices in global markets also continued to fall after a military strike against the Syrian regime seems unlikely, and concerns about the lack of oil supplies in the Middle East gradually subside. Oil futures for next October delivery in NYMEX hiked USD 2.65 settling at USD 108.07 pb, while Brent oil futures for November delivery also hiked USD 2. 41 to USD 110.60 pb.
