
Price of Kuwaiti crude oil was up by 78 cents settling at USD 105.02 per barrel (pb) on Tuesday compared to USD 104.24 pb the day before, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said in a statement on Wednesday. In world markets, oil supplies from Libya - a member of the organization ( OPEC) - cast a shadow on oil prices, as Brent crude contracts dropped yesterday amid expectations of the imminent end of the halted exports from Libya. Brent crude contracts for December delivery settled at 60 cents, or 0.55 percent, to USD 109.01 dollars per barrel. Meanwhile, in the New York market, forward crude contracts for December dropped to USD 98.20 pb.
