The price of Kuwaiti oil went down 94 cents Tuesday to reach USD 40.97 per barrel as oppose to USD 41.91 pb Monday, said a statement by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Wednesday.
At the world market yesterday, oil prices extended their decline as US crude stockpiles fell by 2.3 million barrels last week, trade group American Petroleum Institute (API) reported.
For distillate inventories including diesel, API reported a surprise draw of 484.000 barrels. It also said there was an unexpected gasoline build of 805.000 barrels.
