
The price of Kuwait's crude oil went down USD 1.23 on Tuesday and stood at 51.31 per barrel compared to USD 52.54 pb Monday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Wednesday.
In international markets, future contracts for the Brent mix went down by USD 1.20 to reach to USD 58.53 per barrel while the contracts for American crude went up by USD 0.39 to reached USD 50 pb.
The decrease in the Brent mix price was affected by the increase in world oil supplies while the increase in the American crude price was due to a slight growth of reserves as shown by reports last week.
