the Minister of Education and Higher Education Saad Ibrahim Al Mahmoud said that the success of the Qatar Independent Technical School was a result of Qatar Petroleum’s support. He expressed his delight at the cooperation taking place between Qatar Petroleum and Supreme Education Council in the technical field, praising the idea of having a technical school that provides the national economy with skilled local technicians.During their visit, the school honored the HE Minister of Energy and Industry Mohammed Saleh Al Sada, HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Saad Ibrahim Al Mahmoud and President of Qatar University Sheikha Abdullah Al Misnad for their efforts in support of the school.The school also honored a number of companies for the support they provided to the students. Those companies were Maersk Qatar, Qatargas, RasGas, Qatar Petroleum Development Co. Ltd., Qatar Steel, Qapco and Oryx Energy Projects & Services.
