Al-Azhar welcomes cooperation with Germany in cultural domains

The Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed el Tayyeb expressed Al Azhar's readiness to cooperate with Germany in the scientific and cultural domains, especially in the fields of teaching German language to Al Azhar students.
During a meeting on Monday with a delegation of the German scientific exchange authority in Cairo, the Grand Imam welcomed cooperation with German side in the inter-faith dialogue at al Azhar to entrench the culture of dialogue and cooperation among religions.
Dialogue is the best way for achieving world peace, said the Grand Imam, pointing out that dialogue is one Islam's pillars.
For his part, the head of the delegation expressed delight over cooperation with Al Azhar in the scientific and cultural domains.
