Azhar imam calls on Iraqis to withstand anti-Iraq plots

Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmad el Tayyeb has called on the Iraqis to withstand anti-Iraq plots.
During a meeting with a high-level Iraqi delegation representing officials and scholars, Tayyeb said the widening gaps between Iraqi sects contradict with the teachings of Islam.
Islam calls for co-existence and communication with all people.
For their part, members of the delegation praised the role played by Al-Azhar in the Islamic world, noting its role in countering the sedition that target Arab and Islamic brotherhood
